The initial opening of Zing is a punchy combination of citrus and something else I honestly cannot quite describe but in a memory way, it took me back to a family member’s indescript cologne scent. (Is this the mineral note? I have no clue to be honest).
The ginger note is perfectly done, it has that fizzy spice like ginger, but it is absolutely not too sweet like candied ginger. The citrus adds a freshness to the mix, and mate just makes the whole thing feel grounded. Not sure if I smell carrot, could be that mix of "grounded" feeling with the mate.
The overall combination is smooth and addictive. Lasts quite a few hours on my skin and it is not intrusively loud. One of my fave ginger fragrances,. Super excited to try more from Andrea Maack!

My first impression was cutting into an orange and squeezing it with my hand, juice dripping down my arm. The carrot and ginger turn it into that hot person who works at the juice bar — pores filled with all the fruit and veg and greens they handle, along with a little bit of their own clean musk to ground it.

A truly unique fragrance that, to me, is perfect for summer. It opens with juicy orange wrapped in a cool, metallic edge. As it develops, the ginger adds an intriguing spicy kick, while the patchouli brings a vibrant, sparkling quality to the composition.
Completely unisex - I can easily picture it working just as well on a man as on a woman.

The description of this fragrance could not be more spot on. I used to make my own carrot, tumeric, and ginger shots during the spring, this fragrance is an exact transportation to the pulp bin of my juicer. Sharp and invigorating while also extremely wearable and elevated.
