This is a hidden gem within the already amazing Andrea Maack line, a DNA I've never smelt before and fell in love with instantly. Flux highlights a blueberry note but isn't a gourmand. It's like walking through a forest in the early morning, with dew still on the fir needles, wrapped in a cashmere blanket, and coming across wild blueberries that you then pick and eat, resting against the trunk of a magnificent sequoia. Forest bathing at its finest. While the eucalyptus and mint lend a freshness, it's wrapped in the warmth of cardamom, cashmere wood and resins, making Flux appropriate for any season or time of day. The only fragrance I can compare it to is Coven. While that one is also forest-y, it's darker and earthier — a forest glade at night where you watch the stars from a moss-covered rock. Think of them as sisters. Flux is the sunnier, more playful sibling, while Coven is her dark, brooding counterpart.

Flux is a soul-fragrance for me. It brings me back to childhood, when I would pick berries with my dad along the Santa Cruz coast. The sun is fading, we're walking back to the car through the redwood forest, and I'm looking for fairies in the underbrush.
Wild, sweet, a bit bracing, and deeply personal. Give this one a try if you want a unique, but wearable woodsy scent. The longevity is impressive, too--the cashmeran drydown lasts on clothes for days.

This perfume has me drooling like a dog! I ordered the discovery set, and while all perfumes were uniquely incredible, I couldn’t help but fall in love with Flux. Coven, Pavilion, and Jest were extremely close behind on my list. Something about Flux is so unique and captivating. I wish I had all of them to wear over and over!

I just ordered a sample kit and had the opportunity to smell flux (which hopefully I can upgrade to a full bottle). This scent is incredibly unique. First spritz the blueberry hits with mint. Like blueberry jam in the snow. It is cold yet sweet. The scent soon dries down to some green notes like walking through the trees. At the end, I am left with a jammy, woody scent. It really embodies the experience of moving through a forest.
I was looking for a scent that reminded me of the Pacific Northwest and this did just that for me. It is atmospheric and embodies a cool fresh breeze and pine trees! Longevity was fantastic!
